Gary Kellmann is a 25-year veteran of manufacturing and wholesale distribution of consumer products and is the Managing Partner of Shenzhen, China-based KDK Technology Ltd. and author of “White Ghost in China”.
While attending, and graduating from, Southeast Missouri State University, Kellmann began his entrepreneurial career
developing and selling his first consumer product ideas which helped finance his expenses during that period of time. His first “big hit” after graduation was an invention in the Health and Beauty Aides (HBA) category that rewarded him with repeat orders from the likes of Walmart and specialty retail stores and from 2001-2003, he established world-wide recognition within the “novelty and beauty” category with the LED flashing Belly Lights (over 2 million sold) and the Braid Lights (over 1 million sold) and subsequently sold his parent company in 2004. After his successful business exit, and for the next five years (2004-2009), he resided in China and consulted with middle-market companies, specific to Asian supply chain management and operations.
In 2010, Kellmann founded KDK Technology Ltd. and is currently leading his company in the product categories of High Tech wearables, Consumer Electronics, Internet of Things (IOT), Performance Sportswear and Medical Tech. Due largely to its management team and efficiencies in supply chain consulting, operations and support, KDK has enjoyed sales to-date in excess of $100M.
Kellmann has been developing and patenting products since the late 1980's and as a successful business owner, entrepreneur, mentor and innovator, Kellman regularly speaks to colleges and universities, as well as local meet-ups and other entrepreneurial organizations as an advocate of disruptive technologies in Block chain, Artificial Intelligence, and high tech categories as well as to the relationships between Chinese culture/geo politics and entrepreneurial startups. Gary is Co-founder & Executive VP for ZBones Headphones.
